Tim Whittington started photographing motor sports as a schoolboy, has been a professional freelance photographer and writer since 1984 and, in 2001, won the motor sport category of the Hyundai Photographic Awards organised by the Guild of Motoring Writers.

An extensive photo library features more than 20 years of British and International Rallycross, also contains output from circuit racing, speed events and Autocross, as well as Autograss racing which has been covered since 1995.

A regular contributor to Motorsport News and Autosport, Tim also works for Track and Race Cars and Racecar Engineering. Over the years, writing and photographic credits have appeared in magazines as diverse as Fast Car, Classics and the US published Sports Car Illustrated.

Tim is also the publisher/editor of Supergrass magazine which he created in 1997 and Rallycross World, launched in 2001.

Together with colleagues Jan Kåre Rafoss and Henk de Winter, Tim established ERC24.com in 2006. The website provides unrivalled coverage of the European Rallycross Championship, as well as offering media services to teams in the championship and media outlets and journalists around the world.
